Lead creation is a process in Salesforce that allows your sales team, marketing team, or other users to set up, create and manage leads.

The leads can be imported and generated from external marketing automation platforms, including web traffic, email, social media, etc.

A lead is typically someone who has expressed some interest in your product or service but does not yet have an account with you.
