To integrate the Windsor.ai connector with Adobe Analytics, acquiring your Adobe Analytics API credentials is necessary. Adobe retired its legacy Web Services Username and Shared Key authentication; credentials are now generated through the Adobe Developer Console using an OAuth Server-to-Server credential. Follow these steps to obtain your credentials:
Requirements
- Adobe Analytics Administrator Access
- Access to the Adobe Developer Console for your organization
Instructions
Step 1: Create a project in the Adobe Developer Console
Navigate to the Adobe Developer Console (console.adobe.io) and sign in. Select Create new project (or open an existing one).
Step 2: Add the Adobe Analytics API
Click Add API, choose Experience Cloud as the category, select Adobe Analytics API, then click Next.
Step 3: Choose an OAuth Server-to-Server credential
Name the credential, then generate a new OAuth Server-to-Server credential, the credential type built for server-to-server integrations like Windsor.ai, rather than a personal OAuth login.
Step 4: Select product profiles and save
Choose the product profile(s) covering the report suites you want Windsor.ai to access, then click Save configured API.
Step 5: Retrieve your Client ID and Client Secret
Open the API’s overview page, select Credential details, and copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
Step 6: Retrieve your Global Company ID and Report Suite ID
Adobe Analytics still identifies your account by a Global Company ID and one or more Report Suite IDs, separate from the OAuth credential, available from your Adobe Analytics admin console or Adobe’s discovery API.
Step 7: Configure Windsor.ai
Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, Global Company ID, and Report Suite ID in the matching fields in your Windsor.ai configuration.
