How to connect Looker Studio to Windsor.ai

1. Go to your Windsor.ai dashboard:

2. Connect your data source that you further need to move to Looker Studio. We’ll use Google Analytics 4 for this example. 

For this, choose Google Analytics 4 data source and select the necessary account(s). Click “Next.”

3. Choose “Looker Studio” as your data destination.

4. On the new tab, you’ll be prompted to complete your account setup if it’s your first time using Looker Studio.

To complete the integration of Looker Studio with Windsor.ai:

  • Go back to the Windsor.ai tab and click on “Looker Studio” again.
  • Choose your preference or click “yes to all” and ensure the “saved” notification appears at the bottom.
  • Click the “X” icon to complete.

5. Click on the “Authorize” button to allow Looker Studio to connect to your data. Sign in to your Google account and follow the required steps to authorize Google Analytics.

6. Select the account(s) from which you want to pull data and click the “Connect” button on the upper right side.

1. Navigate to the Windsor.ai Looker Studio templates page.

2. Select the template that suits your data needs.

3. Scroll down to the “How to use it” section and open the template via the provided link.

4. The template will open in Looker Studio. Click on the three dots on the upper right and make a copy.

5. If you see the “marketing preferences” pop-up, select the updates you want to receive in your email and click on the “X” icon to close.

6. Now, you can customize the created report through the following functions:

  • Sync the necessary account in the “Add Data” field.
  • Change it to the data source you want to use.
  • Add necessary fields and parameters.

As an individual, once you connect your Google account, all accounts associated with the Google account will be available in the dashboards. Other accounts that are not from Google need to be added individually.

As an Agency dealing with multiple clients, you’ll need to add each account separately to Windsor.ai.

Log in to your Windsor account, click “Preview and Destination, select “Looker Studio,” and choose the accounts you want to connect.
