TikTok Follower Tracker: Track Growth Over Time

A TikTok follower tracker keeps a running history of your follower count over time, so you can see growth trends instead of a single snapshot. TikTok’s own analytics cap follower history at 60 days (7, 28, or 60-day windows in TikTok Studio), so anything older than that is gone unless you’ve been recording it yourself.

The fix is the same idea as tracking follower growth on any platform: pull the data on a schedule and build your own history, because TikTok itself only looks backward a limited distance.

Why TikTok’s built-in follower history runs out

TikTok Studio’s in-app analytics show follower growth for 7, 28, or 60 days, and content-level metrics only reach back 7 days. That’s a dashboard limit, not a data-availability one: TikTok does track daily follower counts and daily follower loss, but once a day falls outside that window, TikTok’s own interface stops showing it.

The same daily-level data is available through Windsor’s TikTok Organic connector: total_followers_count for the current day, daily_total_followers for the day’s net change, and daily_lost_followers for how many people unfollowed. That last field is a count, not a list, TikTok’s API doesn’t expose which specific accounts unfollowed you, only the net number.

Building your own history

The fix is a daily scheduled pull into Sheets or BigQuery, using total_followers_count alongside daily_total_followers and daily_lost_followers, so your own record accumulates going forward instead of relying on TikTok to remember it for you.

Pull my TikTok follower count and daily follower change for the
last 60 days, and schedule this to run daily so I keep a full history.

Set up the dashboard

  1. Configure the Looker Studio connector: Windsor.ai
  2. Select your TikTok Organic account as the data source
  3. Add total_followers_count as a time-series chart, and daily_lost_followers alongside it to see gains against losses
  4. Set the report to refresh daily so today’s pull adds to yesterday’s, building the history TikTok’s own dashboard won’t keep

FAQs

Does this tell me who unfollowed me?

No. TikTok’s API doesn’t expose who specifically unfollowed you, only the net number of followers lost per day.
