Connect Amazon Ads to Cursor
Connect your Amazon Ads data to Cursor with the Windsor.ai connector, so the dashboards and scripts Cursor builds use your real search term, targeting, campaign, and advertised product data.
Ask Cursor for a search term harvesting script, an ACoS by advertised ASIN report, or a campaign efficiency canvas built on your own Sponsored Products Search Term, Cost, Sales, and ACoS fields.
Forget CSVs. Stop copy/paste. Connect in minutes. No code required.
Write advertising scripts on your real Amazon Ads data
Cursor works inside your project, so what it builds from your Amazon Ads data stays with you as files, scripts, and canvases you can rerun. Key use cases:
Harvest winning search terms and cut the losers
Cursor reads Sponsored Products Search Term rows and writes a script that lists terms to add as exact match and terms to block, with the spend and sales that support each decision.
See which products the ad spend really supports
Ask for a report of Cost, Sales, and ACoS by Advertised ASIN, so products that absorb spend without returning it are visible.
Compare campaigns on efficiency
Cursor can rank campaigns by RoAS and show Campaign daily budget beside spend, so you see where budget is capped on winners or wasted on losers.
Keep the audit in code
Have Cursor save the search term and product audits as scripts, so you can rerun them on new data each week without rebuilding the analysis.
Using Windsor.ai to connect data from Amazon Ads to Cursor
Without Windsor.ai, Cursor builds on placeholder numbers or on CSV exports you paste into the project. Windsor MCP gives Cursor live Amazon Ads data with the real field names, so the dashboards and scripts it writes match your account.
Connect in minutes, then ask Cursor to build something with your Amazon Ads data.

FAQs
What Amazon Ads data can Cursor use?
Windsor.ai gives Cursor access to 400 Amazon Ads fields. These are some of the groups; the Amazon Ads field reference lists all of them:
- Sponsored Products search terms: Search Term, Keyword Text, Match Type, Targeting, Cost, Clicks, Impressions, Purchases (14 days), Sales (14 days), ACoS, RoAS.
- Advertised products: Advertised ASIN, Advertised SKU, Campaign Name, Cost, Sales (14 days), Total advertising cost of sales (ACoS).
- Campaigns: Campaign, Campaign daily budget, Campaign bidding strategy, Cost, Total return on advertising spend (RoAS).
- Sponsored Brands: search term, ad group, and campaign reports with Cost, Sales, ACoS, and RoAS.
- Time: Date.
What prompts can I use to build with Amazon Ads data in Cursor?
Cursor works best when you ask it to build something with a clear output. Each of these names the fields to use and the file or canvas you want back:
-
Pull Sponsored Products Search Term rows with Search Term, Campaign Name, Match Type, Cost, Clicks, Purchases (14 days), Sales (14 days), and ACoS for the last 60 days. Write a script that lists terms with more than 15 Clicks and no purchases as negative candidates, and terms with at least 3 purchases and an ACoS below 30% as exact match candidates. Save both as CSV and show the top 10 of each.
-
Pull Advertised ASIN, Advertised SKU, Campaign Name, Cost, Sales (14 days), and Total advertising cost of sales (ACoS) for the last 30 days. Build a canvas that ranks products by Cost and shows ACoS next to each, and write a note on the five products where spend is highest and ACoS is worst.
-
Pull Campaign, Campaign daily budget, Campaign bidding strategy, Cost, and Total return on advertising spend (RoAS) by Date for the last 30 days. Find campaigns that hit their daily budget on most days and have an RoAS above the account average, and write which ones deserve a budget increase first.
-
Pull Targeting, Match Type, Cost, Clicks, and Sales (14 days) from Sponsored Products Search Term rows. Compare match types on Cost, conversion, and ACoS, and write a short recommendation on which match types are carrying the account and which are leaking spend.
-
Compare Cost by Date for the last 28 days with the 28 days before. List the 20 search terms with the biggest increase in Cost and show whether their Sales (14 days) rose with them, so I can see spend growth that is not paying back.
-
Pull Sponsored Brands search term rows with Search Term, Cost, Sales, and ACoS. Write a script that finds brand-related terms and generic terms by whether the term contains my brand name, and compares ACoS and Cost between the two groups.
Can Cursor turn Amazon Ads data into dashboards I can share?
Yes. Cursor can render a dashboard, analysis, or report as a canvas next to the chat, and it saves the canvas so you can reopen and rerun it later with fresh data. On paid Cursor plans you can publish a canvas to a read-only share link for teammates. See the Cursor canvas documentation for the current plan requirements.
Does Amazon Ads data include Sponsored Brands as well as Sponsored Products?
Yes. Windsor.ai exposes Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and other report groups, so Cursor can work with search terms, targeting, ad groups, and campaigns across them.
Can Cursor change my Amazon Ads account?
Yes. Windsor.ai has write actions for Amazon Ads, and Cursor can run them through Windsor MCP when you ask: it can enable or pause a campaign, and set a campaign budget. See the full list of write actions.
Can I combine Amazon Ads data with other sources in Cursor?
Yes. Windsor.ai supports 350+ data sources, so you can connect Amazon Ads alongside tools such as Amazon Seller Central, Google Ads, or Facebook Ads and ask Cursor to work with them together. For example, ask Cursor to join Amazon Ads Cost by Advertised ASIN with Amazon Seller Central units ordered by ASIN, then write a report that shows total sales growth against the advertising spend behind it.
How do I add Windsor MCP to Cursor?
Open Settings in Cursor Desktop, go to Tools & Integrations → New MCP Server, and add Windsor to mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"windsor": {
"url": "https://mcp.windsor.ai/"
}
}
}
Save the file, click Authenticate next to Windsor in your MCP list, and sign in to Windsor.ai in the browser.
Do I need to code to connect Amazon Ads to Cursor?
No. The connection takes no code: connect Amazon Ads in Windsor.ai, add Windsor to Cursor’s MCP settings, and sign in. After that you describe what you want in plain language, and Cursor writes and runs the code. You can read and edit everything it produces.
How much does it cost to integrate Amazon Ads with Cursor using Windsor.ai?
The free forever plan covers 1 data source, so connecting Amazon Ads on its own costs nothing and needs no credit card. Combining Amazon Ads with other sources, such as Amazon Seller Central or Google Ads, needs a paid plan: $19/month for 3 sources or $99/month for 7. Cursor is billed separately by Cursor. See the pricing page.
