You can connect Braze to Claude in two steps: link your Braze account at Windsor.ai, then add the Windsor.ai connector inside Claude. Once the two are linked, Claude can query your Braze campaign, Canvas, and Content Card data directly in plain language, no CSV exports or manual dashboard digging required.

Braze’s own dashboard reports email, push, and in-app performance channel by channel, so getting one blended view, especially alongside data from other marketing platforms, usually means exporting CSVs by hand and stitching them together in a spreadsheet. Connecting through Windsor.ai’s native Claude connector skips that step: your Braze metrics become queryable in natural language, live, and can sit next to data from any of Windsor’s other 350+ connected sources.

2 steps to connect Braze to Claude

Connecting Braze to Claude through Windsor.ai takes two steps and no code.

📖 For the full walkthrough, see Windsor’s documentation on integrating data into Claude.

Prerequisites

  • A Windsor.ai account (free forever plan available, no credit card required)
  • A Braze account with at least one active campaign (email or push)
  • A Claude account with access to connectors

Step 1. Connect Braze to Windsor.ai

Start on Windsor’s side so Braze has somewhere to send its data.

  • Create a free Windsor.ai account (or log in) at Windsor’s Braze connector setup page
  • Select Braze from the list of data sources
  • Authorize Windsor to access your Braze account when prompted
  • Repeat the process to connect additional Braze accounts if you manage more than one

Step 2. Add the Windsor.ai connector in Claude

In Claude, go to Settings, then Customize, then Connectors. Search for “Windsor” and click Add. It’s a native one-click install, not a custom connector you configure by pasting in a URL.

Sign in to your Windsor.ai account when prompted, then pick your Braze connector to confirm it’s one of the sources Claude can access.

Pro tip: set permissions to “Always allow” so Claude can query your Braze data without asking for confirmation on every prompt.

List the data sources connected to my Windsor account. Do you see Braze there?

If Braze shows up in the list, you’re ready to ask Claude about your campaign performance in plain language.

The metrics that matter for Braze

Metric What it tells you
email_open_rate The share of delivered campaign emails that were actually opened, a first read on whether your subject line and send time landed.
email_click_rate The share of delivered emails that got a click, a sign the message content and offer were compelling, not just the subject line.
ios_push_direct_opens How many people tapped an iOS push notification to open it directly, the clearest evidence a push actually drove action.
conversions The number of times a campaign’s target action was completed after someone received it, the bottom-line proof a message worked.
revenue Dollar revenue Braze attributes to a campaign’s messages, tying messaging directly to money instead of just engagement.
unique_recipients How many distinct people actually received a campaign, the real reach number behind any open or click rate.
canvases_analytics.total_entries How many users entered a Canvas journey, the top of the funnel for any multi-step flow.
canvases_analytics.total_conversions How many of those Canvas entrants completed the journey’s goal action, showing whether the flow as a whole converts.
canvases_analytics.total_revenue Revenue Braze attributes to an entire Canvas journey, useful for judging a multi-step flow’s return rather than one message.
cards_analytics.unique_clicks How many distinct users clicked a Content Card, a read on whether in-app content is actually earning engagement.
kpi_daily_active_users.dau Daily active users for the app, the baseline audience size any campaign or Canvas result should be measured against.
kpi_daily_new_users.new_users New users added per day, useful for judging whether messaging is helping pull in growth or just working the existing base.

What to ask Claude about your Braze data: prompt ideas

Campaign and message performance

Compare email open rate and click rate across my last 10 Braze campaigns, and flag any that underperformed.
Which Braze campaigns had the highest iOS push direct opens and reached the most unique recipients this month, and how much revenue did they generate?

Canvas and conversion tracking

List my top 3 Braze canvases by total conversions and total revenue this quarter.
Compare canvas total entries against total conversions for the last 30 days so I can see where the journey loses people.

User growth and content engagement

Show daily active users next to new user signups for the last 14 days, and tell me which Content Cards got the most unique clicks in that window.

Braze isn’t currently on Windsor’s list of write-action connectors, so this connection is read-only. Claude can analyze and report on your campaigns, canvases, and Content Cards, but it can’t create, pause, or edit them. For that, you’d still work inside Braze directly.

Bonus: analyze Braze alongside your full stack

Windsor connects 350+ sources, so Braze doesn’t have to live in its own silo. A few practical blends:

  • Message-driven CAC. Blend Braze campaign and Canvas revenue with spend from Google Ads and Facebook Ads to see whether paid acquisition or lifecycle messaging is actually driving the conversions you’re crediting to each channel.
  • Post-message on-site behavior. Pair Braze push and email engagement with GA4 session and conversion data to see what people actually do on your site or app after opening a message, not just whether they opened it.
  • Full lifecycle revenue view. Combine Braze campaign and Canvas revenue with your CRM or e-commerce revenue data to see whether lifecycle messaging is really moving sales, not just increasing opens and clicks.

Other ways to connect Braze to Claude

Manual CSV export

You can export campaign reports from Braze as CSV files and upload them to Claude manually. It works, but it’s a static snapshot: every new question about fresh data means another export, with no live connection to blend with other sources.

Zapier or Make

Zapier or Make can move Braze data into a spreadsheet or database that Claude can then read. It’s a workable setup, but it means building and maintaining a workflow yourself, and Claude still isn’t talking to Braze directly.

Neither approach gives Claude the live view of your Braze data that the direct Windsor.ai connector does.

Conclusion

Braze runs the email, push, and in-app messaging behind a lot of customer engagement work, but that data only becomes useful once you can ask about it in plain language alongside the rest of your stack.

Connecting Braze to Claude through Windsor.ai turns a two-step, no-code setup into a live line to your campaign, Canvas, and Content Card data, so performance questions are just a prompt away.
