You Can Now Post to Instagram From Claude With Windsor.ai

You can now post to Instagram straight from Claude. The Windsor.ai Instagram connector just went from read only to read and write, so Claude can publish an image post to your Instagram Business or Creator account without you opening the app. No code, and you approve the post before anything goes live.

Until today, the Instagram connector was read only: Claude could pull your Instagram data and report on it, but it could not post. Now it does both in the same chat. Ask a question, get the answer, then ask Claude to publish the result to Instagram. That is the point of read and write, analysis and action in one place.

What read and write changes

A read only connector answers questions. A read and write connector also carries out the next step. With Instagram write live, Claude can take the image and caption you approve and publish them as a feed post on your account, in the same conversation where you planned it. No exporting, no switching tabs, no manual upload.

How to post to Instagram from Claude

Three steps, no code, and you stay in control the whole way.

• Step 1. Connect Instagram in Windsor.ai. Go to onboard.windsor.ai/app/instagram and connect the Instagram Business or Creator account you want to post to. You set up the Windsor.ai Instagram connector once and it is ready to use.
• Step 2. Add Windsor.ai in Claude. Open Claude, go to the connector directory, search Windsor.ai, and click Add. This is the native app, so there is nothing to paste and nothing to configure. See the full Instagram to Claude setup for a walkthrough.
• Step 3. Ask Claude to publish. Give Claude an image and a caption and ask it to post to your Instagram account. Windsor.ai publishes it as a single image feed post, and you review the image and caption before it goes live.

One note on scope: the Instagram write action publishes a single image feed post (a JPEG photo) with your caption. Carousels, Reels, and Stories are not supported yet, and the connector still reads your profile and post data exactly as before.
