Windsor’s LinkedIn Pages connector can publish, not just report. Once connected, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot can post commentary, a link, or an image to your LinkedIn Company Page directly from a chat, with the exact post shown to you before it goes out.

What you can do

  • Publish a post. Commentary, a link, or both, at least one is required. Sharing a link posts it as an article card, and since LinkedIn doesn’t fetch the page title itself, you (or your assistant) need to supply link_title; a link_description is optional.
  • Publish an image post. A public image URL with optional commentary.

Prompts worth running

Two gotchas real usage keeps hitting

Publishing here succeeds the large majority of the time, but two specific failure patterns show up often enough to plan around.

The first is the image URL itself. image_url has to be a plain, publicly reachable file, no login required. A link copied from a ChatGPT file library, a private CDN, or any URL that returns a 401 or 403 without authentication will fail, LinkedIn (and Windsor, fetching on its behalf) can’t download something that requires a session to view. If your assistant just generated or uploaded an image, ask it to confirm the URL loads in a fresh, logged-out browser tab before publishing.

The second is LinkedIn’s own duplicate-content check. Posting the same commentary and link combination twice in a short window gets rejected as a duplicate share, not silently reposted. If a post needs to go out again, change the commentary, the link, or both.

You’re always in control

Your assistant shows you the exact commentary, link card, or image before anything publishes. Nothing goes live without your confirmation, and the list of actions available to it is pulled live from Windsor’s API, so it always reflects what your connected Company Page can currently do.
