Managing your data sources effectively is key to maintaining smooth and accurate data flows in Windsor.ai. Whether you’re looking to view your current data sources, remove a connected source, or free up space for new connections, this guide will walk you through the necessary steps to keep your data environment organized and efficient.
Where can I see the data sources I'm using?
You can view the data sources you’ve currently connected to your Windsor.ai account in two ways:
1) In your Windsor.ai dashboard, click on the “Show only connected” checkbox in the Data Sources sidebar.
2) Go to the Preview and Destination dashboard and click on the “Select Data Source” field to quickly review the data sources in use.
How to remove a data source from my Windsor.ai account?
1. In your Windsor.ai dashboard, see the list of all the data sources we support.
2. Find the data source you want to remove and click on it.
3. You will be able to see the added accounts to this data source. To disconnect the data source from your account, you should remove all the accounts by clicking on the checkbox near Account Name.
Important! Before proceeding with the removal, check if any reports or data streaming depend on these accounts. Removing an account or data source that is actively used can lead to gaps in data or incomplete reports.
If a data source has no accounts connected, then it’s not being used, and you will have space to connect another one.
