An Amazon advertiser’s stack is rarely just one account: Sponsored Products campaigns, a DSP campaign for upper-funnel reach, and the product listings everything points back to. Checking each one separately is slow. Once they’re connected to Windsor.ai (see: How to Connect Amazon Ads to ChatGPT, or the Claude version, plus Amazon Seller Central for listings), Windsor’s write actions let ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot pause campaigns, activate DSP flights, and fix listings directly, across all three, in one conversation.
Is this automatic, or only when I ask?
Worth being direct about this: write actions are prompt-triggered, not autonomous monitoring. Whichever assistant you use, it doesn’t watch your ASINs in the background and pause a campaign the moment ACOS spikes overnight, there’s no unattended monitoring running between conversations.
It runs the action you ask for, when you ask for it, across whichever of the three accounts you’ve connected. If you want a regular check, ask for it explicitly at the start of each session rather than assuming it’s being monitored continuously.
What you can do across your Amazon stack
Sponsored Products, DSP, and Seller Central are three separate connections in Windsor, each with its own write actions. Here’s the full list:
| Connector | What you can ask for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products) | Enable a campaign | Reversible with pause |
| Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products) | Pause a campaign | Reversible with enable |
| Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products) | Set a campaign’s daily budget | Daily budgets only |
| Amazon DSP | Create a campaign | Created inactive; needs ad groups and creatives before it can run |
| Amazon DSP | Update a campaign | Rename it and/or set it ACTIVE or INACTIVE |
| Amazon Seller Central | Update a listing | Title, description, bullet points, or price; processed asynchronously by Amazon |
For the exact parameters each action takes, see the full list of available write actions, kept live and up to date from the API. Sponsored Products write actions don’t yet cover keyword bids or targeting, DSP campaigns need their ad groups and creatives built before an update can activate them, and listing updates are submitted for Amazon’s review, not published instantly.
Run the full sequence: analyze, then act across all three
Pull last month's ASIN-level performance across Sponsored Products and
DSP. Which ASIN has the worst combined ACOS?
For that ASIN: pause any Sponsored Products campaign spending over $50
with no sales, tell me if its DSP campaign is active and should be
paused too, and show me its current listing title and bullet points so
we can fix what might be hurting conversion. Wait for my confirmation
before changing anything.
Pause underperforming Sponsored Products campaigns
Find every Sponsored Products campaign with ACOS above 40% and spend
over $30 in the last 7 days. Show me the numbers first, then pause the
ones I confirm.
Turn on a DSP campaign once creative is ready
The "Holiday Reach" DSP campaign has its ad groups and creatives set up
now. Set it to ACTIVE.
⚠️ DSP campaigns start inactive on purpose. Creating a DSP campaign through Windsor doesn’t launch it, ad groups and creatives still need to be added first, outside these write actions, before activating it will actually deliver. Confirm that’s done before asking your assistant to set it live.
Push a listing fix on your worst ASIN
Update the listing for SKU ABC-123: change the title to "[new title]"
and replace the bullet points with these 5: [list]. Don't touch the
price.

FAQs
Does it monitor ACOS or sales and act automatically?
No, in any of the three. Write actions are prompt-triggered: your assistant acts when you ask it to, in that conversation. There’s no background monitoring between sessions.
Will it pause a campaign or update a listing without me approving it first?
No. Whichever assistant you’re using, it shows you the exact campaign, budget, or listing change before running it, and listing updates go to Amazon for review on top of that, so nothing goes live from a single unconfirmed step.
Do I need to connect Sponsored Products, DSP, and Seller Central separately?
Yes. They’re three separate Windsor connections, each with its own write actions. You only need to connect the ones you actually use.
Can it create new Sponsored Products campaigns or edit keywords?
No. Sponsored Products write actions currently cover enabling, pausing, and setting the daily budget of existing campaigns, not creating campaigns or managing keywords and bids.
Are Windsor's write actions reversible?
Mostly. Enabling and pausing a Sponsored Products campaign undo each other, and a DSP campaign can be set back to inactive. Listing updates can be corrected with another update, but Amazon’s own review process means a change isn’t instant either way.
Is there any difference in what I can do between ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot?
No. The write actions come from Windsor’s MCP server, not from the assistant, so the same actions are available in all three.
