How Windsor.ai counts data sources and accounts
Every Windsor.ai plan has two limits: how many data sources you connect and how many accounts you select inside them. A data source is a platform, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads or GA4. An account is one account ID inside that platform, such as one Google Ads account or one GA4 property.
The account limit is a total across all your data sources. Destinations are not counted: Claude, ChatGPT, Data Studio, Power BI, Google Sheets, BigQuery and every other destination are included on every plan.
What counts as one data source
- Each platform connector counts once, however many accounts, clients, queries or reports use it.
- Ads and organic data come from different connectors, so they count separately. Facebook Ads and Facebook Pages are two data sources, and so are LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Pages, or TikTok Ads and TikTok Organic.
- Instagram ads come through the Facebook Ads connector. Instagram organic data (posts, reels, followers) is its own data source.
- Sending one data source to several destinations, for example Google Ads to Claude and to Data Studio, still counts as one data source.
What counts as one account
- Each ad account, GA4 property, Search Console site, Facebook page or Instagram profile you select counts as one account.
- A Google Ads manager account (MCC) is not one account. Every client account you select under it counts as one.
- Each Shopify store and each Amazon marketplace counts as one account.
- When Google Sheets is a data source, each selected tab counts as one account. A file with three connected tabs counts as three accounts.
- Google Business Profile locations count in blocks of 10: 1 to 10 locations are 1 account, 11 to 20 are 2 accounts, and so on. 13 locations count as 2 accounts.
- Campaigns, fields and rows are not counted. One Google Ads account with 50 campaigns is one account.
What each platform calls an account
Each platform has its own name for the unit that counts as one account.
| Data source | What counts as one account |
|---|---|
| Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads | an ad account |
| GA4 | a property |
| Search Console | a site (property) |
| Facebook Pages | a page |
| a profile | |
| Shopify | a store |
| Amazon Seller Central | a marketplace |
| Google Sheets | a tab (each selected tab in a file) |
| Google Business Profile | 10 locations |
Worked examples
| Setup | Data sources | Accounts | Plan that fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| One business on Google Ads, Facebook Ads and GA4 | 3 | 3 | Basic |
| Ecommerce brand on Shopify, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, GA4 and Klaviyo | 5 | 5 | Standard |
| Agency with 20 clients under one Google Ads MCC, plus each client’s Facebook Ads and GA4 | 3 | 60 (20 per platform) | Basic |
| Agency with 25 clients on Google Ads, Facebook Ads and GA4, and 5 of them also on LinkedIn Ads | 4 | 80 | Plus |
| Agency with 40 clients on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, GA4 and Search Console | 4 | 160 | Plus |
| Brand with 10 country stores, each with a Shopify store, a Facebook Ads account, a Facebook page and an Instagram profile, plus one Google Ads account | 5 | 41 | Standard |
| Franchise with 54 Business Profile locations (6 accounts), one Google Ads account and one GA4 property | 3 | 8 | Basic |
| Agency with 60 clients, each on the same 6 platforms | 6 | 360 | Professional |
The 25-client agency needs Plus even though Standard allows 7 data sources, because 80 accounts is more than Standard’s 75. Plan limits and prices are in the plan table below and on the pricing page.
How to pick a plan
- Count the platforms you want to connect. Count ads and organic separately.
- Count the accounts you will select in each platform, and add them up.
- Pick the smallest plan whose limits cover both numbers.
| Plan | Data sources | Accounts | Price (annual / monthly billing) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free forever | 1 | 1 | $0 |
| Basic | 3 | 75 | $19 / $23 per month |
| Standard | 7 | 75 | $99 / $118 per month |
| Plus | 10 | 200 | $249 / $299 per month |
| Professional | 14 | 500 | $499 / $598 per month |
| Enterprise | up to 200 | up to 50,000 | quote |
If one number fits a plan and the other does not, the higher plan applies. For example, 4 data sources and 80 accounts needs Plus, because Standard covers the data sources but not the accounts. For more than 14 data sources or 500 accounts, the Enterprise plan is priced on request: book a demo.

FAQs
Are Facebook Ads and Facebook Pages one data source or two?
Two. Ads and organic data come from different connectors, so Facebook Ads, Facebook Pages and Instagram each count as one data source. Instagram ads are included in the Facebook Ads connector.
Does a Google Ads manager account (MCC) count as one account?
No. The MCC is one data source, and each client account you select under it counts as one account.
I run an agency. Do I count data sources per client?
No. Each platform counts once for all your clients. Twenty clients on Google Ads, Facebook Ads and GA4 is 3 data sources and 60 accounts, which fits the Basic plan.
How are Shopify stores and Amazon marketplaces counted?
Each Shopify store and each Amazon marketplace counts as one account under its data source. Two Shopify stores, for example UK and US, are 1 data source and 2 accounts.
How are Google Sheets tabs counted?
Each selected tab counts as one account. One file with three connected tabs counts as three accounts, and three files with one tab each also count as three.
How are Google Business Profile locations counted?
In blocks of 10, rounded up. 1 to 10 locations count as 1 account, 11 to 20 as 2 accounts, and 54 locations as 6 accounts.
Does the number of campaigns, reports or queries change the count?
No. Only data sources and accounts are counted. Campaigns, fields, reports and queries are not limited.
Does Windsor.ai charge by rows or data volume?
No. Paid plans include unlimited rows, and there is no charge for monthly active rows or data volume. API requests have rate limits, listed in the pricing page FAQ.
Do team members count toward the limits?
No. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, and they all work with the same connected data sources and accounts.
What happens when I need more data sources or accounts?
You can upgrade at any time, and billing is prorated for the rest of your billing cycle. The pricing page FAQ shows how the proration is calculated.
Can I unselect accounts I no longer use to stay within my plan?
Yes. Unselecting an account frees its slot, and its data stops coming through to your reports, queries and destination tasks. For most connectors where you pick accounts from a list after signing in, the authorization stays, so you can select the account again later without reconnecting. For other connectors, selecting it again may need a new authorization.
Is every connector included on every plan?
Yes. All 350+ data sources and all destinations are available on every plan, with no premium connectors.
