Pricing and plans
How much does Windsor.ai cost, and which plan do I need?
Windsor.ai has a free forever plan with no credit card. Paid plans are billed per month, with a lower price for annual billing:
- Basic: $19 (annual) or $23 (monthly) for 3 data sources and 75 accounts
- Standard: $99 or $118 for 7 data sources and 75 accounts
- Plus: $249 or $299 for 10 data sources and 200 accounts
- Professional: $499 or $598 for 14 data sources and 500 accounts
- Enterprise: priced on request, for up to 200 data sources and 50,000 accounts
To pick a plan, count the platforms you want to connect and the accounts you will select in them, and choose the smallest plan that covers both numbers. Every connector and destination is available on every plan. See Windsor.ai pricing for the current prices.
What counts as a data source and what counts as an account?
A data source is a platform, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads or GA4. An account is one account ID inside that platform, such as one Google Ads account or one GA4 property. Ads and organic count separately: Facebook Ads and Facebook Pages are two data sources. Destinations are not counted: Claude, ChatGPT, Data Studio, Power BI, Google Sheets and BigQuery are included on every plan. The guide to how Windsor.ai counts data sources and accounts has worked examples for agencies, ecommerce stores and Google Ads manager accounts.
Can I add one more data source or account without moving to the next plan?
No. A setup that needs more data sources or accounts moves to the next plan. You can upgrade at any time, and you pay only for the rest of the billing cycle on the higher plan, minus a credit for the unused time on your current plan. To stay on your plan, unselect accounts you no longer use, which frees their slots. For more than 14 data sources or 500 accounts, the Enterprise plan is priced on request. See what happens when you need more data sources or accounts.
What do I get in my first 30 days?
For the first 30 days, a free account has extra capacity: 10 data sources, 15 accounts, 5 destination tasks and data from the past 30 days. You are never asked for a credit card. You can extend the extra capacity by 2 weeks by referring a friend, and your friend gets 2 weeks as well. See how to start with Windsor.ai for free.
What happens after the first 30 days?
Your account steps down to the free forever plan: 1 user, 1 data source, 1 account and 5 destination tasks, with data from the past 30 days. You are not charged, and your account is not switched off. The data sources and accounts above the free limit are paused and nothing is deleted: their data stops flowing, and you can switch which ones are active at any time. A setup with more data sources or accounts needs a paid plan, from $19/month for 3 data sources. See the free forever plan limits on the pricing page.
Are there discounts?
Yes, for annual billing: Basic is $19 a month instead of $23, Standard $99 instead of $118, Plus $249 instead of $299 and Professional $499 instead of $598. Agencies that resell or implement Windsor.ai can apply to the solution partner program, which pays partners a share of the revenue.
Are write actions, Claude, ChatGPT and SSO included in my plan?
Yes for write actions, Claude and ChatGPT: reading data and write actions such as pausing campaigns or changing budgets work on every plan, including the free forever plan. Paid plans include up to 10 years of data history, and the free plan reaches back 30 days. Backfills to destinations start on Basic, hourly syncs on Standard and 15-minute syncs on Professional. Single sign-on (SSO) is part of the Enterprise plan. See what each Windsor.ai plan includes.
Which plan am I on?
Click your name in the top right corner of the Windsor.ai app, select Settings, then click Manage Subscription under Subscription Management. The Subscription tab shows your current plan, billing period and status. If you bought a plan and still see the free plan, see why an account still shows the free plan after payment.
How do I upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual billing?
Go to Settings, click Manage Subscription, then Update Subscription, choose the new plan and click Select. All changes take effect immediately:
- An upgrade charges the remaining time on the higher plan, minus a credit for the unused time on your current plan.
- A downgrade charges nothing. The unused time becomes a credit on your account balance, which pays your next invoices.
- Switching between monthly and annual billing starts a new billing cycle that day. Unused time becomes a credit, and after a move from annual to monthly the leftover credit pays future invoices.
To keep your current limits until the end of the cycle, downgrade shortly before your renewal date. See how to change your Windsor.ai subscription and how plan changes are billed.
Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings, click Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription on the Subscription tab, and confirm. A monthly plan stays active until the end of the billing period you paid for. An annual plan stops renewing at the end of the year, and the remaining months are not refunded. Cancelling deletes your historical data. There is no pause option, so to stop paying for a while, cancel and reactivate later. See how to cancel your Windsor.ai subscription.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final, and Windsor.ai does not issue refunds, including for prepaid monthly fees. Subscriptions renew automatically, so cancel before the next billing date if you no longer need the plan. A downgrade or a switch from annual to monthly billing turns unused time into account credit. The refund policy is in our pricing information and section 5 of the terms of service.
Why was I charged, or charged after cancelling?
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until they are cancelled, even when nobody uses the account. An upgrade in the middle of a cycle creates an immediate prorated charge. To see what each charge was for, open Settings, click Manage Subscription and then the Invoices tab, which lists every invoice with its date, amount and status. If a charge still looks wrong, send the invoice number to support through live chat. See how Windsor.ai billing works.
How do I get an invoice, add my company details, or pay by invoice?
Download invoices from Settings, Manage Subscription, Invoices tab. Invoices are not reissued once they are created, so update your billing details in your account settings and every future invoice will include them. Windsor.ai accepts credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, processed by Stripe. Paying by invoice is available on the Enterprise plan. See how to download your Windsor.ai invoices.
What happens if my payment fails?
Windsor.ai retries a failed payment automatically, up to 8 times over 30 days. If payment is not received, access can be suspended until the balance is paid. If your card was declined, contact support through live chat to complete the payment. See the subscription management guide.
Why does my account still show the free plan after I paid?
First wait a few minutes and refresh the page: a new subscription usually shows within 5 minutes. If it still shows the free plan, you most likely paid with a different email from the one you log in with. Open Settings, click Update profile on the Account tab, enter the email you paid with in the Subscription email address field and click Save Changes. If Windsor.ai says that email is already associated with another account, invite it as a team member to your main account instead. See how to link your subscription to another email address.
Account and team
What do I do if I can’t log in?
Use the same sign-in method you signed up with: Google, Microsoft, email and password, or your company’s SSO. If you forgot your password, request a reset link on the Windsor.ai password reset page. Being signed in to several Google accounts in one browser causes login errors, so sign out of the others or use a separate browser profile, and clear your cache and cookies. If the password reset email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then contact us through the live chat on windsor.ai. See how to fix sign-in and authorization errors.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings, click the Team tab and click Delete Account under Danger zone. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first: Windsor.ai blocks the deletion until you do. Data cached by Windsor.ai is deleted within about three weeks after it was last used, and you can request deletion of your personal data at [email protected]. See how to delete your Windsor.ai account and our privacy statement.
How do I move my subscription to another email or account?
Your subscription is linked by email. Open Settings, click Update profile on the Account tab and enter the email you paid with in the Subscription email address field. If that email already has its own Windsor.ai account, invite it as a team member to the account that holds your data sources. Accepting that invitation hides any data sources connected directly to the paying email. To change the email you sign in with, contact support through live chat. See how to link your subscription to another email.
How do I add or remove team members, and what roles are there?
Open Settings, click the Team tab, click Invite team member, enter their email and click Send invitation. There are three roles: team member (the default), team owner, who manages team members, and subscription manager, who manages billing. To remove someone, open Settings, then Team, and manage them in the Team Members section. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, and team members do not count toward your account limits; the free plan has 1 user. On Professional and Enterprise, team owners can stop team members from seeing other members’ accounts. If a client only needs to connect their own account, send them an authorization link instead of inviting them to your team.
Connecting data sources
Do you have a connector for my platform, and can you add one?
Windsor.ai has 350+ connectors, and every one is available on every plan. Search the list of Windsor.ai connectors to check yours. If it is missing, add it or vote for it on the Windsor.ai feature request board, and our product team plans new connectors from there. For a custom connector built without waiting in the queue, see the Enterprise plan on the pricing page.
How do I connect a data source?
Log in at onboard.windsor.ai, search for the platform under Data Sources in the left sidebar, sign in to the platform and grant access. Then select the accounts you want to pull data from and choose a destination. If you have no Windsor.ai account yet, connecting your first data source creates one. Most platforms use the platform’s own sign-in screen, so your password is never shared with Windsor.ai; a few ask for an API key from the platform instead. See the connector setup guides.
How do I connect Shopify? I can’t find Windsor.ai in the Shopify App Store.
That is expected: Windsor.ai is not installed from the Shopify App Store. You create your own app for your store in the Shopify Dev Dashboard, install it on the store, and enter its Client ID and Client secret in Windsor.ai together with your shop name (your-shop-name.myshopify.com). Without the read_all_orders scope, Shopify returns orders from the last 60 days only. For several stores that are not in one Shopify Plus organization, create one app per store. The Shopify configuration guide lists every step and the scopes to paste.
Why can’t I connect Instagram or a Facebook Page?
If a Page or Instagram account is missing from the list, open Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy, then Business Integrations, click View and Edit next to Windsor.ai, tick the Pages and Instagram accounts you want, and refresh Windsor.ai. If an account is not listed there either, add yourself to it in Meta Business Manager first. Instagram data needs a Business or Creator account, because personal accounts are not available through Instagram’s API. See how to fix Facebook Page and Instagram connection issues.
Why can’t I connect my Meta ad account, or why isn’t it listed?
Your Facebook user needs access to the ad account itself, at least as an analyst who can view performance; access to a Page alone is not enough. During authorization, click Edit access and grant every permission requested. Meta checks permissions when you authorize, so after you get access to a new ad account, disconnect and reconnect Facebook Ads in Windsor.ai. If that does not help, reset the Windsor.ai integration on Facebook. See the Facebook Ads connector setup guide.
Why can’t I connect my Google Ads account, or why isn’t it listed?
Read-only access to Google Ads is enough for reporting; write actions need Standard or Admin access. If Google asks for a passkey, SMS and authenticator-app codes usually won’t satisfy that prompt; choose Try another way to return to your other sign-in options. If an account is missing, unselect all Google Ads accounts in Windsor.ai and reconnect, and for a manager account (MCC) make sure the manager has access to each client account. Being signed in to several Google accounts in one browser also breaks authorization. See the Google Ads connector setup guide.
How do I add more accounts from the same platform?
After you sign in to a platform, Windsor.ai lists every account that login can see, and you can select one, several or all of them. Accounts added on the platform later appear after you reconnect. For accounts under someone else’s login, send them an authorization link, and the connection appears under your Data Sources when they approve it. On Professional and Enterprise, Auto-add all accounts connects every available account in a data source. Each selected account counts toward your plan’s account limit.
How do I disconnect or remove an account or data source?
Click the data source in your Windsor.ai dashboard and untick the accounts you want to remove. A data source with no accounts selected is disconnected and frees a slot on your plan. Check first whether a report or destination task uses those accounts, because removing them leaves gaps in that data. To also remove Windsor.ai’s access on the platform side, revoke it in your Google Account settings or in Facebook’s Business Integrations. See how to remove a data source.
How do I reconnect a data source after the connection expired?
Disconnect the data source and connect it again, granting every permission the platform asks for. Platform tokens expire or are revoked, for example when you change your Facebook password, and reconnecting issues a new one. After reconnecting, check your saved queries: the account ID can change even when the account name looks the same. See how to fix expired and failed connections and the “Account is not available” error.
Where do I find my Windsor.ai API key?
Your API key is in the API Access section of your Windsor.ai settings, and it also appears in the setup instructions under Preview and Destination. You can rotate the key from your account settings. Each key sees only the accounts of its own login, and a key from another login returns an “Account is not available” error. Never send the full key over chat or email. See the Windsor.ai API documentation.
Data, fields and errors
Is a specific field or metric available, and what is it called?
Every connector has a public field list with the field IDs to use in queries: start from the Windsor.ai field reference for every connector. In the app, click the arrow next to the connector URL in the data preview, or the info button next to a field, to see its ID. In Claude or ChatGPT you do not need to choose fields, because every available field is sent to the assistant. If a metric does not exist, you can build it as a custom field.
Why is there no data for my connected account?
Check these causes in order:
- The date range: there was no spend in the period, or the dates are older than your plan or the platform keeps (the free plan reaches back 30 days).
- Paused or new campaigns: Meta leaves out campaigns, ad sets and ads without impressions or spend in the period unless you turn on the option to include them.
- The API key: a query made with a key from a different Windsor.ai login cannot see your accounts.
- The connection: an expired token or missing permission returns nothing until you reconnect.
See why an account returns no access and how to fix authentication errors.
Why does my query return an error?
Start from the error code. A 429 means too many requests: the Windsor.ai API allows 600 requests per minute and 10,000 per day, source platforms such as LinkedIn set their own limits, and clearing the cache more than once every two hours also returns 429. Spread scheduled refreshes over the day and request fewer fields. A 401 or 403 means the connection or permission needs fixing. Errors that name fields mean those fields do not exist or cannot be combined, as explained in the guides for GA4 and Google Ads. The full list is in the Windsor.ai API error codes.
How far back can I pull data?
Paid plans include up to 10 years of history, and the free plan reaches back 30 days. The platforms set their own limits too: Meta Ads insights go back 37 months and Search Console keeps 16 months. Loading history into a destination with a backfill starts on the Basic plan. For several years of ad data, use Cache Data Store to load long date ranges, because large backfills can time out on the platforms’ APIs.
How often does data refresh, and why is the latest day missing?
Query results are cached for 6 hours; click Clear Cache in the app to get fresh data, at most once every two hours. Scheduled destination tasks skip the cache and run daily on Free and Basic, hourly from Standard and every 15 minutes on Professional. A missing or low latest day usually comes from the platform: Instagram finalizes a day’s follower count after the day ends, and Search Console numbers take 2 to 3 days to settle. Time zones can also shift the last day. See how Windsor.ai caching works.
Why don’t the numbers match Ads Manager, Google Ads or GA4?
In most cases the two queries are not the same. Compare the same level (campaign or ad), the same date range and time zone, and the same attribution setting. Metrics such as reach and users cannot be added up across days: 7 daily reach values summed do not equal 7-day reach. In GA4, run the same metrics and dimensions in Explore and the numbers should match. If they still differ, report the mismatch to support. See how to fix data discrepancies, with separate guides for GA4 and Meta Ads.
How do I blend sources, create custom fields or convert currency?
The Blended Data connector queries every connected source in one request and returns one table, with a source column for each row. Custom fields let you build your own metrics with formulas, such as ROI from Facebook Ads spend and Shopify revenue, and work in every destination. Data arrives in each account’s own currency; to convert, add a calculated field in your destination. See how to create custom fields and the custom field example for margins.
Why is my query or report slow, or timing out?
Many platform APIs are slow, time out after 30 to 120 seconds and often fail on a year or more of data. Use shorter date ranges, fewer fields and filters while you build a report. For large reports in Data Studio or Google Sheets, turn on Cache Data Store, so the report loads stored data from Windsor.ai instead of calling the platform each time. In Power BI, increase the command timeout in the advanced settings.
Destinations
How do I send data to BigQuery, Snowflake or another warehouse, and why did my task fail?
In the data preview, pick the destination, fill in the connection details and choose a schedule. Destination tasks support Google Sheets, BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Databricks. For BigQuery, the dataset must already exist (Windsor.ai creates the table), billing must be enabled, and the user needs the BigQuery Data Editor and BigQuery Job User roles. A “Reauthentication is needed” error means the Google sign-in expired. Check the run history and errors in the destination task panel. See common BigQuery destination problems and how to send data to Snowflake.
How do I send data to Data Studio (Looker Studio), or fix it?
Choose Data Studio as the destination in Windsor.ai, authorize the connector, select the accounts and click Connect; if you select no accounts, Windsor.ai pulls all of them. A “Bad Request Error 400” or “too many redirects” during install comes from being signed in to several Google accounts in one Chrome session. Data Studio refreshes on its own schedule, so check that auto-refresh is on under Edit Connection. See how to connect your data to Data Studio. For Power BI and Excel, see the Power BI guide and the Excel guide.
How do I send data to Google Sheets, and does it overwrite or add rows?
Use either the Windsor.ai add-on inside Sheets or a destination task in the Windsor.ai app; the destination task is usually faster to set up. In a destination task, set Columns to Match: when a row matches, Windsor.ai updates it, and when no row matches, it adds a new one. The add-on reloads a query into the sheet and replaces the data that was there. Backfills of historical data need a paid plan. See how to send data to Google Sheets.
How do I schedule refreshes, and what does a failed task email mean?
Set the schedule in the destination form: daily on Free and Basic, hourly from Standard, every 15 minutes on Professional. Data Studio, Power BI and Tableau schedule refreshes on their own side. When a destination task fails, Windsor.ai emails your team straight away; the usual causes are expired credentials, missing permissions on the destination, or a rate limit on the source. You can turn these emails on or off in your notification settings. See how to schedule automated refreshes.
Claude, ChatGPT and the MCP server
How do I connect Windsor.ai to Claude or ChatGPT?
Connect your data sources in Windsor.ai first. In Claude on the web or desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors, search for Windsor and click Add, then sign in with your Windsor.ai account. In ChatGPT, install the Windsor.ai plugin and allow access. You do not need to choose fields in Windsor.ai, because the assistant can query every field. Other tools such as Cursor, Gemini, Copilot and n8n connect to the Windsor.ai MCP server. See how to connect Windsor.ai to Claude, how to connect Windsor.ai to ChatGPT and the setup guides for other AI tools.
What can I do with Windsor.ai in Claude or ChatGPT?
Ask questions across all your connected sources in plain English: KPI summaries, top and worst campaigns, posts or products, budget reallocation, trend and anomaly checks, and client reports. You can also act on the answer, for example pause a campaign or change a budget. Start with the Windsor.ai prompt library, the Windsor MCP use cases with example prompts, or the guide for your role, such as paid media.
Can Claude or ChatGPT create, edit or pause campaigns?
Yes, on the platforms that have write actions, with no extra setup. Google Ads and Meta Ads can create campaigns, ad groups or ad sets and ads, and change budgets, bids and targeting. LinkedIn Ads can change budgets, schedules and targeting and create creatives. TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads and Amazon Ads can pause, enable and change budgets. The assistant asks you to confirm before every change, and anything it creates starts paused. Other connectors are read-only. To make sure an ad account can never be changed, connect it in Windsor.ai with a platform user that has read-only or reporting access, so the platform rejects any write request. The full, current list is in Windsor.ai write actions, and how write access works explains the safeguards.
Why did a write action fail?
A failed action changes nothing, because the platform rejects the request before anything is created. On Meta, most ad creation failures come from an incomplete creative, such as a missing Page ID, link or image; Meta also allows at most 4 budget changes per ad set per hour. On Google Ads, changes need Standard or Admin access. A permission error usually means the account was connected before that action existed, so reconnect it in Windsor.ai. See why Meta write actions fail and the required parameters for each action.
Can the AI publish Instagram or Facebook posts and reply to comments?
Yes. On Instagram it can publish image, carousel, video and story posts, and create, reply to, hide and delete comments, on Business or Creator accounts. On a Facebook Page it can publish text, link and photo posts. Images need a public URL and must meet Instagram’s format rules, such as JPEG up to 8 MB. If publishing returns a permission error, reconnect the account in Windsor.ai to grant the posting permission. See how to manage Instagram with an AI assistant and how to publish to a Facebook Page.
Why can’t Claude or ChatGPT read my data?
Check these in order:
- At least one data source is connected in Windsor.ai, under the same login you used to sign in from Claude or ChatGPT.
- In ChatGPT, the Windsor.ai connector is turned on in that chat.
- On a company Claude account, an administrator has allowed the connector.
- The source connection is still valid. Reconnect it if it expired.
Test with the prompt “List the data sources connected to my Windsor account.” An “Account is not available” error means the request used a login or API key that cannot see that account. See how to fix the “Account is not available” error.
Security, product and support
Is my data secure, and does Windsor.ai store it?
Windsor Group AG has completed a SOC 2 Type II audit, and data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Windsor.ai only caches the data it processes. Data in memory is kept for up to 24 hours, data cached to disk is deleted after 20 days without use, and none of it goes into backups. The access tokens for your platforms are stored encrypted so that data can be fetched when you ask. Windsor.ai does not use customer data to train AI models. Personal data is processed under the Swiss data protection act and the EU and UK GDPR. In Claude and ChatGPT, your platform credentials stay with Windsor.ai, and the assistant receives only the data needed to answer your question; how Anthropic or OpenAI handle that data is set out in their own data-use policies. See Windsor.ai security, the GDPR annex and the list of sub-processors.
What is Windsor.ai?
Windsor.ai is a no-code data integration platform. It connects 350+ marketing, sales and analytics platforms and sends their data to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, BI tools, spreadsheets and data warehouses. In Claude and ChatGPT you can also act on the data, for example pause campaigns or change budgets. Windsor.ai was founded in 2017 and is based in Switzerland. Read the Windsor.ai overview, or start on the free forever plan.
How do I reach the support team or follow up on a request?
Use the live chat in the bottom right corner of windsor.ai or inside the Windsor.ai app. A person from our support team answers it, 24/7. For anything that needs investigation, submit a support ticket, and we reply within one business day. You can also email [email protected] or book an onboarding call. When you follow up, include your ticket number, the connector, the account ID and a screenshot of the error, never your API key. See Windsor.ai support options.
