Windsor’s Facebook Page connector can publish, not just report. Once connected, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot can post text, a link, or a photo to your Facebook Page’s feed directly from a chat, with the exact post shown to you before it goes out.

What you can do

  • Publish a post. A message, a link, or both, at least one is required.
  • Publish a photo post. A public image URL with an optional caption.

Prompts worth running

If your first post fails, it’s almost always one thing

In practice, a first attempt to publish through this connector fails more often than it succeeds, and the reason is nearly always the same: the connected Page hasn’t granted the permission Meta requires to post on its behalf. If your account was connected before this write action existed, that permission was never requested in the first place.

The fix isn’t a code change or a support ticket: reconnect your Facebook Page in Windsor.ai. That re-authorization is what grants the posting permission, and it clears the error on the next attempt. If you’re posting into a Facebook Group rather than a Page, the requirement is different again, a group post needs the app installed in that group plus the right permission on top of the Page permission, so a Page-only reconnect won’t fix a group post.

This isn’t a Windsor limitation showing up as a bug, it’s Meta’s own permission model, and it’s the single most useful thing to check before assuming the feature doesn’t work.

You’re always in control

Your assistant shows you the exact post, image, and caption before anything goes live. Nothing publishes without your confirmation, and the list of actions available to it is pulled live from Windsor’s API, so it always reflects what your connected Page can currently do.
