Google Search Console Dashboard Templates
Free Search Console dashboard templates for Data Studio, Power BI, Google Sheets and Tableau. Each one shows clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by date, query, page and device: copy it and point it at your own property.
The Data Studio template runs on Google’s own Search Console connector. The Power BI, Google Sheets and Tableau templates load the data through Windsor.ai, which can add GA4, ad and CRM data to the same report.

What a Search Console dashboard should show
- Clicks and impressions by day, against the previous period. A single total hides the day a change started.
- A query table and a page table. Queries tell you what people searched; pages tell you where the traffic landed.
- A device split. On windsor.ai in September, desktop brought 80% of clicks and mobile 19%.
- Branded and non-branded queries apart. A calculated field with a regex on the query separates searches for your name from the rest.
- CTR from totals. Compute it as clicks divided by impressions, not as an average of row CTRs.
Three things to know about the numbers
- The templates read more than 1,000 rows. The Performance report shows 1,000. In our Data Studio test, one query table listed 21,228 queries for windsor.ai over four weeks, and adding device returned 73,252 query-and-device rows.
- Some queries are always missing. Google withholds rare queries, and some tools show them as one row with an empty query.
- The latest days are incomplete. Search Console data is usually 2 to 3 days behind.
What the templates can and cannot show
The templates read Search Console’s performance data. Some Search Console reports are not available as report data, so no template shows them.
Performance data
Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by date, query, page, country, device and search type. Every template uses it.
Sitemaps
Submitted sitemaps with their errors, warnings and last download date. Windsor.ai’s connector includes them; Google’s Data Studio connector does not.
Not in any template
Page indexing, Core Web Vitals, manual actions and security issues stay in Search Console. URL Inspection has its own API, limited to 2,000 inspections a day per property.
FAQs
Which Search Console template should I use?
The one for the tool your team already reports in. For a free dashboard you can share by link, use the Data Studio template. For Power BI, Google Sheets or Tableau, use the matching template on this page.
Do the templates show more than 1,000 queries?
Yes. The 1,000-row limit belongs to the Performance report in Search Console. In our Data Studio test, one query table listed 21,228 queries for windsor.ai over four weeks.
Can I add GA4 or Google Ads data to a Search Console dashboard?
Yes. Connect GA4, Google Ads and other sources in the same Windsor.ai account, or blend them in Data Studio. Search Console reports full URLs and GA4 reports page paths, so match the URL form before joining on landing page.
Why don't the dashboard numbers match Search Console?
There are usually three reasons. Totals counted by property and by page differ, the latest 2 to 3 days are incomplete, and Google withholds rare queries. Compare the same date range and the same search type before reading a difference as an error.
